August afternoon. Poetry results.

Late this summer, the kind editors at Turtle Island Quarterly selected my poem, “White Oak II” for publication in their fall issue. Their preferred subject matter, healing and connection to the natural world, fit the poem’s subject matter quite well and I was proud earlier this week to see the on-line version of the poem.

I also want to throw a sincere thanks to an old friend and fellow poet, Michael Spring for recommending their magazine for this submission.

Subscribe to this blog for further updates as this and other poems are gathered into my debut, self-published collection in mid-winter.
